At Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric, we believe that being part of a community means showing up when people need you most. That belief is what drives our teams to go beyond the job site, and it’s what led our Oklahoma City plumbing manager, Charles Glenn, to join forces with the United Partnership of Plumbing Contractors (UPPC).
Formed by a group of Oklahoma plumbing professionals, the UPPC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to using plumbing skills to help those who can’t afford critical home repairs. Whether it’s fixing broken water heaters, restoring access to clean water, or making sure veterans have a safe place to live, this team shows what it means to serve with heart.
On why the UPPC was created, Charles said:
“Stacey Coe, along with Stanley Plumbing, recognized that while we’re running businesses to make a living, there are people in our community who simply can’t afford essential repairs. The UPPC gives us a way to help without compromising our work.”

One of the most recent calls came from Community Helpers, a local organization that connects volunteers with residents in need. They reached out about an elderly woman living with Parkinson’s disease whose water heater had completely failed.
Through the UPPC, Charles and our Paschal OKC team stepped in, coordinating a full water heater replacement at no cost to the homeowner. Charles described how the process works:
“If a company encounters someone who clearly can’t afford services, they pass the case to the UPPC board. We review each request as a group to see who we can help.”
For most people, a hot shower is part of everyday comfort, but for someone with limited mobility and health challenges, it’s about much more than convenience; it’s about safety and dignity.
The UPPC team also came together to provide plumbing repairs for The Valor House, a sober living facility for veterans in Oklahoma City. This no-cost repair ensured the home could continue operating safely, giving veterans a stable place to heal and rebuild.
Reflecting on the experience, Charles said:
“When you walk into a place like that and see the people you’re helping, you realize plumbing isn’t just about pipes. It’s about people.”
The United Partnership of Plumbing Contractors focuses on helping Oklahomans facing urgent plumbing issues that pose risks to health, safety, or basic comfort. Their service area includes homes, nonprofit facilities, and community spaces that otherwise couldn’t afford repairs.

Paschal’s mission has always been about serving people first, not only through technical expertise, but through compassion, community, and care. Joining forces with organizations like the UPPC allows our team to live out that mission in a tangible, lasting way.
Charles tied it back to Paschal’s values:
“At Paschal, our guiding principle is ‘To Our Customers, To Each Other, To Our Community.’ Supporting the UPPC is an extension of that. It’s part of how we live out our commitment to serve.”
Every repaired pipe, every restored water line, and every hot shower we help bring back is a reminder of why we do what we do.

The UPPC continues to grow, but their impact depends on the help of local plumbers, contractors, and donors.

Together, we can make sure more Oklahomans have safe, functioning homes, and remind our communities what it looks like when businesses and tradespeople come together to care.
